Chapter 1 gives the introductory and background information and settings, whereas chapter 2 describes the methodologies for the 3-D analysis and chapter 3 presents the undulating probe SARAGO. The application of the 3-D analysis to the SARAGO data is then shown in Chapter 4 to 4 cruises of the PRISMA 2 project. At last some discussion and concluding remarks are presented in Chapter 5, whereas the software scripts are listed in Appendix.
