The second leg was devoted to the high resolution SBP (CHIRP) investigation of the
thrust fault described by ZITELLINI1999. Only after the detailed survey of this structure the
sampling stations were chosen. A total of 6 cores were recovered (table 2), 4 in front of the thrust with the
purpose of possibly dating, the most recent tectonic activity; 2 on the hanging wall of the structure,
to date the first stages of the tectonic deformation.
