OBJECTIVES AND BRIEF
NARRATIVE OF CRUISE
The cruise was scheduled to re-mount the current sensor at TELE-SENIGALLIA site
(after the sea-cable repair) and to check the sensor against an RCM7 standard mooring,
5 meters far, same depth.
The crew was: Paschini,Penna, Gaetani and Marziali.
The ship departed at 9:00 morning and arrived at 10:05 and was moored to the mast from bow.
We found a strong breeze from land.
The first operation was the cleaning of the mast(Marziali) with water gun,
then (11:30) we deploy current sensor on starboard and the RCM7 mooring on port.
Marziali dive to tie the cable and to check the mooring, meanwhile Gaetani (12:30) changed
the light sensor and the whole buoy fanal.
Paschini (13:00) make the wires connections and start again the datalogger system.
We found the antenna cable out of order. Penna repair it and the system was restarted and
checked by mobile call: OK.
The strong breeze from land increased.
The ship leave the mast at 15:05 and arrived in Ancona at 16:00.
