OBJECTIVES AND BRIEF NARRATIVE OF CRUISE
First seasonal (autumn) monitoring cruise of ADRICOSM-STAR Project

The ship departed at 19:00 of monday 19 november. A CTD cast was made in deepest point of Jabuka Pit during the sail.
Dallaporta arrived, 25 hours late, in Zelenika, where all the foreign staff went on board.
From Montenegro: Klajic, Macic and Jovicic.
From Albania: Como, Xhanari and Mocka.
Then the ship steams inside Boka Kotorcska to make CTD cast and box-corer in every bacin (KO,TV and HN stations).
From exit to open sea, on the 21 november, the transect 1, 2 and 3 were made.
On 22 november 4 stations of transect 7 were done before to finish the transect 4.
Then in the morning the ship enter in Bar harbour to deploy Jovicic.
At evening of 22 november all the work was done and the ship dropped the anchor in front of Durres.
At 10:00 of 23 we entered into the harbour.

Water samples for Oxygen Winkler analisys on board.
The italian scientific crew was: Betti, Caccamo,Paschini and Penna.
Paschini and Penna, helped by Macic and Klajic, performed the CTD, rosette and box-corer operations.
Caccamo and Betti, helped by Como, Xhanari and Macic performed the sample and filtration operations

This section should be used for reporting mooring, bottom mounted gear and drifting systems (both surface and deep) deployed and/or recovered during the cruise.
Separate entries should be made for each location (only deployement positions need be given for drifting systems). This section may also be used to report data collected at fixed locations which are returned to routinely in order to construct 'long time series'.

Separate entries should be made for each distinct amd coherent set of measurements of samples. Different modes of data collection (e.g. vertical profiles as opposed to underway measurement) should be clearly distinguished,as shouldmeasurements/sampling techniques that imply distinctly different accuracy's or spatial/temporalresolution. Thus, for example, separate entries would be created for i) XBT drops, ii) water bottle stations, iii) CTD casts, iv) towed CTD, v) towed undulating CTD profiler, vi) surface water intake measurements, etc.
Each data set entry should start on a new line - it's description may extend over several lines if necessary.
